چکیده

6G is the future of intelligent connectivity artefacts with Artificial Intelligence (AI) at its backbone. The Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) based enabled infrastructure helps in achieving required zero latency for autonomous Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) features low power consumption, lower end-to-end latency, minimal processing/transmission overheads, higher throughput and reliability. MEC are prone to a deadlock due limited amount available computational resources, resulting fatal delays Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V), Vehicles Road Side Unit (RSU) RSU ITS communication. unresolved may entail energy consumption that can adversely affect Quality Service (QoS) terms safety reliability potential threats causing accidents. Therefore, it almost imperative resolve deadlocks from comply QoS parameters vehicles. asserted goals be achieved by employing an adaptive resolution strategy. In this paper, deadlock-aware, collaborative edge decision algorithm has been proposed facilitating seamless communication vehicles over MEC. Additionally, avoidance prevention schemes have evaluated using Bankers resource request algorithm, wound wait wait-die algorithms provisioning Furthermore, effectiveness real-time scenarios analyzed systems. metrics used comparative analysis research include Round-trip time, Queue wait-time CPU utilization. shows promising results when compared prevalent techniques.

Resource Provisioning and Dynamic Resource Management in Intelligent Transportation Systems

Traffic congestion has adverse consequences on the safety, economy and environment. The loss of productivity due to delays stemming from traffic jams, and increased fuel consumption leads to adverse economic consequences. For example, traffic congestion alone costs the USA 2.8 billion gallons of wasted fuel and a productivity loss of 4.2 billion hours per year [1]. Different studies [2], [3] ha...

Polynomial-Complexity Deadlock Avoidance Policies for Sequential Resource Allocation Systems

The development of e cient deadlock avoidance policies (DAP's) for sequential resource allocation systems (RAS) is a problem of increasing interest in the scienti c community, largely because of its relevance to the design of large-scale exibly automated manufacturing systems. Much of the work on this problem existing in the literature, is focused on the so called Single-Unit RAS model, which i...
